Welcome to GSLA.gi
It gives me great pleasure to be able to finally welcome you to the new updated version of the Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority’s website. We have been considering many options in terms of design features but I believe that GSLA staff have produced a very user friendly website that is both current and fresh and is a reflection of Gibraltar’s vibrant sporting reality.
Sport in Gibraltar is going through a very exciting transition with the construction of several state of the art facilities as well as the ongoing preparatory work for the hosting of the Natwest Island Games in July 2019. With this in mind the GSLA’s online platform will play a pivotal role in providing contacts, news, events information and a general one stop shop for Gibraltar sport in general. We already have two very active social media vehicles namely Twitter and Facebook and this is just the final instalment of our outreach strategy. Over the coming weeks and months you will notice an increase in the information available and greater importance given to the website in the GSLA’s daily business.
In the meantime, please feel free to navigate and explore the site’s many sections.
Finally, as Chief Executive Officer I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of Gibraltar’s sportsmen and women for all the efforts and sacrifices they make in the pursuit of success. Their efforts in continuing to maintain a dynamic local community whilst promoting our country internationally cannot be underestimated.
Yours in Sport,
