Supply Pool Operative / Lifeguard
The Gibraltar Sports and Leisure Authority (GSLA) invites applications for Supply Pool Operative / Lifeguard from persons who by virtue of their citizenship are entitled to take up employment and who are, or on employment will be, resident in Gibraltar.
The GSLA Swimming Pools are found in both our Pool Complexes at Europort Road and the Lathbury Barrack Sports Complex. Successful applicants may be expected to work at other facilities which may fall under the GSLAs remit from time to time.
Eligible applicants must meet the criteria within the Post Job Description and Person Specification attached at Appendix A and are required to be in possession of a RLSS Swimming Pool Lifeguard qualification which includes First Aid.
Applicants who meet the requirements for the post will need to pass the GSLA practical assessment which will be held on Monday 2nd March 2026 and if successful will be shortlisted to attend an interview.
The successful candidate must be prepared to continue with ongoing training as and when this is required and maintain a record of their continuous professional development to ensure standards of practice are kept to a high level.
Salary for the post will be paid at the rate of 9.50 per hour.
